The Taekwondo Art Korea Association (Chairman Seong Yeol-woo) led more than 40 Korean youth culture delegations to the 2023 MBW International Taekwondo Championship held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on August 18 and gathered together with taekwondo delegations from six countries (Korea, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, and Indonesia) to hold an international business agreement ceremony for mutual cooperation.

태권아트코리아연합회(회장 성열우)는 지난 8월 18일 말레이시아 쿠알라룸푸르에서 개최한 2023 MBW 국제태권도선수권대회에 한국 청소년문화사절단 40여명을 이끌고 한국 대표단으로 참가와 6개국(한국, 중국, 말레이시아, 태국, 필리핀, 인도네시아) 태권도 대표단과 한자리에 모여 상호 협력을 위한 국제업무협약식을 진행했다.

The purpose is to promote various cooperation projects through exchange and cooperation between each organization, and to provide mutual exchange activities and support for the development and fairness of the International Martial Arts Olympiad (World Taekwondo Culture Festival) and Taekwondo through mutual cooperation according to the terms and conditions.

목적은 각 단체 간 교류협력을 통해 다양한 협력사업을 추진하고 상호발전을 위한 공동의 노력과 약관에 따른 상호협력으로 세계태권도문화축제 및 태권도 발전과 공정성을 위한 상호교류활동과 지원을 하기로 했다.

이날 국제연합 단체명을 논의하여 범태평양태권도연맹(Pan Pacific Taekwondo Union)을 발족했다.

범태평양태권도연맹 국제연합 단체는 MEMORY SPORT SDN BHD(말레이시아), QINGDAO JINGYITAI TAEKWONDO CULTURE CO. LTD(중국), TAEKWONDO ART KOREA ASSOCIATION(한국), BIG BOSS SPORT CENTER(대만), K MASTER TAEKWONDO(태국), SAMAHANG TAEKWONDO(필리핀), PUGNATOR INDONESIA(인도네시아) 조직으로 구성했다.

Meanwhile, the Taekwondo Art Korea Association will depart for Taiwan (TPE) on the 21st and compete in the 2023 Taiwan City Open International Taekwondo Championship.

한편 태권아트코리아연합회는 오는 21일 대만(TPE)으로 출국해 2023 대만시티 오픈 국제태권도선수권대회에  출전한다.

Nine members of the South Korean youth team announced that they will return to Korea (ICN) on the 25th after completing their four-night, five-day international matches and tours.

한국 청소년대표선수단 9명은 4박 5일간의 국제경기 및 관광의 일정을 마치고 25일 한국(ICN)으로 귀국한다고 밝혔다.
